So today I decided to start a blog about the journey I am starting. I am going to have Gastric Bypass and hopefully loose a bunch of weight. Hopefully! It never dawned on me that my insurance would cover my surgery. But I found that it does and it seems like a chance that I can not pass up.
I am learning all the things I will need to do even before the surgery. Oddly enough even loosing about 20 pounds. As well as 2 weeks before I have to be on a clear liquid diet. Really? If I could do a liquid diet to loose weight wouldn't I have done it? But this time I have a reason.
This surgery is not the magic pill that we all want to find. There is a bunch to do to make it work but I plan on doing it and doing it right. And the fact that I am excited makes all the difference. Now to just get started......
